Further treatment discussion
After surgery on a high grade 
Brain Tumour, or if you have not had any surgery but you are to be considered for Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy, you will have an appointment to see a neuro-oncologist. Your neuro-oncologist should already be familiar with your case as they are likely to have been part of a multi-disciplinary team that considered your treatment options.
He/she will review your scans and previous medical notes before advising you whether, in his opinion, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy will be suitable treatment for your tumour. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the type of treatment you are offered, your tumour and any other concerns you may have at this stage.
You will also be given an appointment to visit the mould room to have your treatment mask made and another appointment for the planning department to plan exactly where the beam of radiotherapy will be directed.
